YOGA WILDHEART is an invitation to explore the transformative practice of yoga, where the alignment of mind, heart, and body leads to a profound sense of inner balance and well-being.

Offering specialized Private Yoga Therapy and Group Classes, I provide tailored programs designed for individuals at any stage of their journey.

In Private Yoga Therapy sessions, the focus is on crafting personalized sessions to aid in moving with minimal strain, enhancing body functionality, and alleviating discomfort. Through these one-hour sessions, we delve into exploring pain-free ranges of motion, enabling gradual improvements in flexibility by releasing tension and tightness. Emphasis is placed on cultivating strength, stability, and fluidity in simple movements, progressing to more intricate poses over time.

In my classes, we dedicate time to observe and refine the body's movement patterns. Attention is given not only to the mechanics of each pose but also to the transitions into them. We explore how the arms function within the shoulders and the legs within the hips, learning to discern which areas should be active and which should remain passive. By improving mobility in larger joints, we positively impact movement in smaller joints, leading to enhanced ease and reduced discomfort. This heightened awareness within our bodies naturally fosters greater flexibility, strength, and overall well-being, regardless of age. These improvements extend to our balance, breath control, and overall sense of self.

Nourished Heart / Calm Body

Life is a balance between holding on and letting go. ~ RUMI

I’m Pam Baker, the founder and instructor at Yoga Wildheart. My journey in teaching began with training from YogaFit and NEDITA. Since then, I've expanded my expertise through extensive training at Functional Synergy.

The entire wellness experience introduced me to a new approach in teaching yoga, emphasizing the importance of slowing down to observe and feel our movements within poses. I recognize that each individual's experience is unique, influenced by factors like body structure, tension points, and external influences on emotions. My aim is to cultivate this awareness among my students, empowering them to improve their movements and flow with ease while enjoying their practice.

My husband and I value lifelong connections with outdoor activities like skiing, biking, and snowshoeing. As a grandmother, I'm passionate about encouraging my lively grandchildren to stay active, whether indoors or outdoors, believing it's essential for well-being. I promote this ethos through group hikes and other enjoyable activities, reminding others that joy is attainable through exploration and effort. I invite you to join us in the Yoga Wildheart community!
